In Pella, the Mayor seat and three Council member seats are up for election: Ward 2, Ward 4, and At-Large.

Those who are interested in running for office should file by Thursday, September 17th. New this year, the Marion County Auditor is now the filing officer for the City of Pella, which means prospective candidates must file their nomination petitions in Knoxville. Elected City of Pella officials serve four-year terms. Each candidate must complete and submit an affidavit of candidacy, along with nomination papers signed by at least 25 eligible electors.
