Property tax statements have been mailed out to Marion County residents.

Marion County Treasurer Denise Emal tells KNIA/KRLS News property taxes are due September 1st but will not become delinquent until October 1st, meaning residents have the entire month to pay the money they owe.

Payments can be made online at the Iowa Treasurer’s website here, by mailing a check to the Marion County Treasurer’s Office, or in person at the Marion County Courthouse in Knoxville.
