Knoxville Fire and Rescue and the Knoxville Police Department responded to a call of suspicious odor at residence Sunday afternoon.
The call came in at 12:42pm of a suspicious odor at 406 E Washington St. Knoxville Asst. Fire Chief Greg Higginbotham told KNIA/KRLS News that the home owners had noticed the odor for few days, but now it was getting stronger.
Crews were on seen for over an hour while inspecting the interior and exterior of the home. Higginbotham said their instruments were unable to detect any leak. The opened all access points to the home to ventilate.
No one was evacuated and no injuries were reported.
