More torrential rain is in the forecast after two to three inches fell throughout most of Marion County.
At our KNIA/KRLS Studios in Knoxville, 2.98 inches fell overnight Sunday. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch through Tuesday morning. Another two to three inches of rain is expected in Marion County, with higher amounts possible depending on the track of the storm.
The rain is expected to bring much cooler weather, with highs expected in the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday, with much lower humidity.
