Monarch butterfly

HCI Care Services of Knoxville will have their 2nd annual butterfly release memorial service in Indianola next week.

HCI’s Spiritual and Bereavement Counselor Don Efinger says the event will include music, refreshments, and children’s activities, followed by a release of Monarch butterflies. Efinger says it’s a way to celebrate the memory of your loved ones.

Volunteers are still needed to help with children’s activities. The service will be at the Smith Memorial Chapel on the Simpson College Campus beginning at 3pm. The event is free and open to the public.

For information on how to volunteer, contact HCI Services Volunteer Coordinator Becky Cobb at 641-842-4312 or BCobb@hcicareservices.org.
