Pella Mayor Jim Mueller announced his candidacy for mayor last month, and is currently running unopposed in this year’s election.

According to the unofficial candidate list, Tony Bokhoven and Dan Spotten are on the ballot for the at-large seat currently occupied by Dave Vander Horst. The city has two other uncontested races, with Ward Two Councilmember Harold Van Stryland and Ward Four Councilmember Larry Peterson running unopposed for their current seats.
