A Pella Couple was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for meth-related felonies.

Andrew and Sheri Martin each face a controlled substance violation – conspiracy to deliver more than five grams of methamphetamine, a class B felony. According to court documents, an informant told investigators the couple had purchased meth previously.

In a police interview, Sheri admitted to officers she purchased “teeners” and “eight balls,” which police say are common street terms for narcotics. Andrew reportedly provided a positive urine analysis to his probation officer and admitted that he had used meth on August 24th. In a post-miranda interview, however, he denied any involvement in narcotics activity.

A preliminary hearing is set for September 25th.
