A combined eight turnovers and a spirited rushing effort by Pella’s big two, Noah Clayberg and Nathan Henry, was too much for Norwalk last night, as the Little Dutch won their 18th straight, 21 – 0. Both teams gave the ball away a total of six times in the first half, but it was Pella that took advantage of them, scoring twice in the first quarter, one apiece from Clayberg and Henry. Coach Jay McKinstrey says his team had a keyword in mind getting ready for their game with the Warriors. Noah finished with 158 yards on the ground, while Henry added a second touchdown in the second period and gained 121 yards. The Little Dutch’s defense held Norwalk’s talented QB, Brady Brandsfield, to just 7-for-24 passing for 128 yards, and they picked off two of his tosses. Pella improves to 4 – 0 on the season, and they have a big rivalry game with Knoxville coming up inside of Ken Locke Stadium next Friday night.
