The Pleasantville Trojans Football team dominated the Wolverines of Nodaway Valley Friday night 53-0 for their third straight shutout.

The Trojans scored early and often, converting on a fourth and goal on their first possession on a touchdown pass to Booker Beier from quarterback Zeb Adreon. On the ensuing and immediately followed that up with an interception by Scout Van Haalen who was the recipient of Adreon’s second touchdown pass of the night for the Trojans to take a 15-0 lead. The Trojans defense continued to dictate the line of scrimmage, only allowing two first downs in the first half from the hapless Wolverines. With this shutout, the Trojans have now scored 157 unanswered points since giving up a fourth quarter touchdown in the season opener against Colfax-Mingo. Trojans head coach Gabe Bakker said that all credit for the fast start goes out to the players. The Trojans are now 4-0 on the season, including 2-0 in the district. They will play next in their homecoming game next friday when they face off with Bedford, the Iowa State Savings Bank Radio Pregame show will start at 6:30 and kickoff is scheduled for 7.
