The Pella Police Department will be participating in a program that’s aimed at allowing residents to safely dispose of prescription drugs.
Lt. Paul Haase says the department is holding a drug take back on Saturday, September 26th.
“That gives you the opportunity to bring in any unused medications, expired medications, or any other medication you no longer use,” Haase says. “You can bring them to this drug drop off–there are no questions asked, it’s free of charge, you can drop them off and leave.”
“It’s really a no-hassle event.”
Officers will be accepting drop offs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pella Walmart.
