The Pleasantville Trojan Football team is now 4-0 after a dismantling of district opponent Nodaway Valley last Friday night 53-0.
The last three games being shutouts for the Trojans have not gone unnoticed in the rankings, as they now move up to number five from number nine in the rankings for class A. The Trojans have been difficult to stop on offense, putting up a combined 150 points over their last three games, and having eight different players score touchdowns. The true strength for this Trojans team lies on the defensive side of the ball, dominating the line of scrimmage and holding opponents to only a total of seven points on the year. However, having played only two district games so far, the Trojans still have some tough games ahead with playoff contenders Earlham, Mount Ayr, and this weeks opponent Bedford still on the schedule. The Trojans can be heard Friday on KNIAKRLS.com and the free KRLS mobile app via the KNIA3 stream, with the Iowa State Savings Bank Radio Pregame show starting at 6:30 and kickoff scheduled for 7pm.
