There will be five candidates running for three city council seats in Knoxville this November.
The Marion County Auditor’s Office sent out of the official list Tuesday, following the deadline for candidates to withdraw.
Knoxville’s candidates are incumbents Carolyn Formanek, and April Verwers, along with Cal Stephens, Rick Kingery, and James Lane. Current council member Tim Pitt has decided not to run for reelection. Knoxville’s mayoral contest has incumbent Brian Hatch running unopposed.
