The Pella Police Department arrested a Lynnville man wanted on a Polk County warrant for a theft charge following a foot chase in Pella Tuesday.

Anthony K. Dommer, 25, was charged with interference with official acts. The department tells KNIA/KRLS News he was spotted by an officer just after noon near the department in an alley. Dommer fled south towards Huber Street, and police set up a perimeter near Peace Street and East 3rd. Officers say the department received calls from citizens to help locate Dommer, who was eventually apprehended at the corner of East 3rd and Peace Street.
