The Pella Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their first ever fall festival.

The Heefst Feest is set for September 25th and 26th. Executive Director of the Pella Chamber Karen Eischen says a committee of local business owners came up with the idea to create a large-scale community event in what is a typically slower season of the year downtown.

“It is a weekend that we have a lot of different activities going to not only engage our residents, but to bring visitors to our community,” Eischen says.
