A family history center is now available at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Knoxville.
Elizabeth Edwards with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints says they’re holding an open house to help people find out how to build their family tree. She says there will be five classes: how get started on genealogy, how to create a family Facebook page, how to create story with grandparents, indexing, and how the family history center can help.
Edwards says the center has access to several different databases that help people investigate their genealogy.
The open house will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, beginning at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to attend.
