PCM Schools are celebrating their homecoming festivities this week.
Street painting and the pep rally will take place Thursday, and spirit night kicks off at the high school in Monroe at 7 p.m. The parade begins at 1:30 p.m. Friday, and the evening concludes with the football game against West Marshall.
Royal Court Member and Student Body President Morgan Novak says there’s a wide array of activities planned during those events for her fellow Mustangs.
“At the pep rally, we have a bunch of games planned for that,” Novak says. “We’re going to have a three-legged race, a pie eating contest which features a couple of teachers, and a free throw contest.”
“And then the parade–everybody gets to get out of school early to go watch everybody, like the court will be in the parade, and the football teams and the volleyball teams. It’s just a really fun experience.”
The school will also hold many theme days. The king and queen will be crowned during Thursday night’s festivities.
