Construction bids are now being accepted for the final 9 parts of the West Elementary expansion and renovation project in Knoxville.

School Superintendent Cassi Murra says bids will be accepted through October 20th. Murra hopes the bid packages will stay competitive and continue to allow the Knoxville Community School District to come in under budget.

The winners of the bids will be determined at the October 26th Knoxville School Board meeting. The hope is West Elementary will be open for the 2016-17 school year.
