A new grief counseling class is scheduled to start this month at HCI Care Services of Knoxville.

Bereavement counselor Don Efinger says they started the class after members of their open group that meets once a month expressed an interest in meeting more often. Efinger says they will meet on weekly basis and review the book, “Understanding Your Grief” by Alan Wolfelt. The books and a journal will be provided to participants free of charge. The eight-week class will meet at HCI Care Services Tuesday nights from 5:30pm to 7pm, beginning January 19th.
