The Knoxville City Council meets in regular session today.
Among the items on the agenda are accepting the resignation letter of Councilman Dave Roozeboom, a discussion of the possible open council position, appointments of city staff and oaths of office, and a discussion of upcoming budget priorities. Also on the agenda is discussion and possible action on a request from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway for the closure of at-grade crossings in Knoxville. The proposed closures are at 1st Street, 3rd, Marion, McKinley, and Sherman. The meeting is at City Hall beginning at 6:15pm and can be heard on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA.
