The Mustang boys basketball squad will go for three conference wins in a row and first place against Heart of Iowa Conference power Gilbert tonight, while the girls will look to right the ship after a tough loss to defending state champions Nevada on Tuesday.
The boys squad are high off their big fourth quarter effort to hold off the strong Cubs earlier this week, and are riding their winning streak into a tough Gilbert squad that has just one loss on the season, to Roland-Story whom PCM has already defeated. Coach Fred Lorenson said that his team is gelling together at the right time. The girls still have a strong conference record at 5-2, and are looking to solidify third place in the Heart of Iowa. The girls will tip off at 6, and the boys at 7:30 and full results of the games can be found on KNIA/KRLS.com
