The Pella Christian girls’ basketball team recorded an easy 47 – 33 win over Saydel last night. Coach Kevin Van Maanen tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that his team played much better than in their loss to Norwalk on Tuesday. The Eagles were keyed by sharpshooting from outside of the arc, with nine made three-pointers. Brooke Mitrisin had two, Cailey Terpstra converted three, and MaryKate Bandstra had the stroke with four, and scored a game-high 15 points. Terpstra finished with 14 and Mitrisin put in ten. The Eagles improve to 4 – 5 on the season, and will play host to Earlham in another non-conference game on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
