Many local high school students will showcase their musical talents at a special concert this weekend.

The annual South Central Iowa Bandmaster’s Association (SCIBA) Honor Band Festival in Ankeny is all day Saturday, concluding with a concert at 5 p.m.

The following students qualified:

Lucia Martisovitsova, Pella – Alto Sax 1
Macy Nossaman, Pella – Trumpet 1
Katelyn Bonham, Pella – Trumpet 1
Taylor Fleener, Pella – Clarinet 3
Jason Lee Grantz, Knoxville – Bass Clarinet
Courtney Bridges, PCM – Flute 2
Max Van Gorp, PCM – Trumpet 3
