The Knoxville Basketball Squads completed another sweep in the South Central Conference with two impressive wins. The girls thrashed Albia 63-30 getting on the Lady Dees early and often to build a 21 point lead by halftime and running away in the second half. Coach Jim Uitermarkt told KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls shot the ball well and the defense was likely the key to the win. Carrie Chambers lead the scoring with 16 points. Knoxville goes to 7-3 and 6-1 in the South Central Conference. The boys made the plays down the stretch and got past Albia last night 60-56. After two free throws by Trent Davis to put Knoxville up 53-51 with two minutes to play, Cade McNeill nailed the three to put Knoxville up by five and the Panthers salted the game away.
