The Pleasantville Trojan Boys Basketball squad, just one day after upsetting Nodaway Valley, could not keep up with the Chargers of Chariton on Saturday and fell 70-41.
The Trojans were in high spirits after they claimed a tie for second place in the competitive Pride of Iowa conference, but the momentum was not enough to carry the Trojans past the much larger school. The Trojans schedule will begin to feature some of the teams more towards the bottom of the Pride of Iowa conference in the coming weeks, and the Trojans will have to take advantage and pick up the necessary wins if they want to continue to be near the top. The loss puts the Trojans at 6-3, and they will next play on Tuesday at home against Southeast Warren.
