The Pella City Council will begin to lay the foundation for many infrastructure projects in the coming meetings.

Mayor Jim Mueller says the council will soon decide whether or not to proceed with road reconstruction along Washington Street this summer or next. He says plans for reworking Oskaloosa Street have been set, with that project slated to begin after Tulip Time.

Mueller also says major progress is expected in the city’s long term water supply plan, including upgrades at the Water Treatment Plant.
