Landowners and Stakeholders in the Cedar Creek watershed are invited to attend a free informational forum on Tuesday January 19, hosted by the newly formed South Central Iowa Cedar Creek Watershed Management Authority.
Linda Shumate, the coordinator of the event, tells KNIA/KRLS News the organization was formed last year to address conservation efforts and flooding in the drainage. The meeting will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia from 11:30am-1:00pm and a meal will be provided. No RSVP is necessary.
