Despite sticking with Dubuque for most of the game, the Storm men ran out of gas late in a 74-64 loss.

Sam Amsbaugh continued his torrid start for the Storm as he put in another 20 points off the bench in only 28 minutes. Dillon Gretzky added 13 points, but a dismal shooting night for Simpson including going 6-25 from beyond the arc would doom the Storm. The Storm men fall to 9-6. The Women’s team found much more success on the court Saturday afternoon, dispatching Dubuque easily 80-53. Balanced scoring from the Storm would be too much for Dubuque to handle, four Storm players would find themselves in double digit scoring led by Noreen Morrow and Mackenzie Haupt at 13 points apiece, and the team as a whole shot 50% from beyond the arc on their way to making 12 triples. The Women get to double digit wins at 10-5, and both Storm squads will continue Iowa Conference play this Wednesday at Wartburg.
