This week Knoxville will draw the nation’s attention as the record-setting Knoxville Panthers annual Coaches vs Cancer game will be held on Saturday.

The event raises funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Knoxville has been tops in the nation for the past three years. Last year fundraising was over $86,000. Co-organizer and Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS News it’s a wonderful event that brings the community together, and that he and his co-organizer and wife Angie appreciate the community support. Events are all day Saturday, with the game beginning at 6:15 pm.
