The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday night.
They considered a proposal by Northecote Meats to purchase adjacent city property north of Hometown Meats, considered the staff budget proposal, the Police K-9 program, and city manager position. No action was taken on these items. They approved a resolution that building permit fees for any building constructed by a governmental entity be equal to the actual costs incurred by the city, and approved the purchase of a vehicle for the water reclamation department.
