The loss by the men dropped them to 3 – 2 in the league, and in a three-way tie with Simpson and Loras for second place. With his 31-point performance in the losing effort three nights ago, Colby Taylor moved up to 19th on the all-time scoring list for the Dutch with 1,070 points. Coach Craig Douma says he has matured a lot since his sophomore season. The Central women have lost their last two, but have a chance to move up to sixth place in the league standings if they can knock off the 2 – 3 Kohawks.
