The Red Cross is looking for Marion County residents to assist in times of both local and national disasters.

Chuck Reeves volunteers for the Red Cross in Marion County, often working with people who suffer from the loss of their homes after fires. Reeves says it is a very rewarding position, but he could use a little help. The latest data collected show that the Red Cross helped nine families in Marion County last year, 742 in the state, serving over 2,100 individuals.
