The Central men’s and women’s track and field teams slipped just a little in the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll for Division III schools. The national team computer rankings show the Dutch women dropping from tenth to No. 12 after finishing runners-up at the Cornell Invitational this past Saturday. Central’s men fell from 18th to 21st despite winning the team title at the same meet. Central features the only ranked indoor track and field teams in the Iowa Conference. They will host the Dutch Athletics Classic starting today and continuing tomorrow at the H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse. Events begin at 4:00 p.m. today and continue at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.
