The Pleasantville Wrestling Squad would face a tough gauntlet of strong wrestling teams on the mats last night in Lenox, taking on Maryville, Mount Ayr, and Bedford/Lenox.
The Trojans would take down Maryville easily 65-12, put away Mount Ayr 48-35, and winning the tiebreaker over Bedford/Lenox 30-30. Hunter Tyree, Griffin McBride, Chaz Clark, and Will Anthony would all go 2-0 for the Trojans who continue to ride a momentum of victories as sectionals get closer and closer. Full results are posted below, and the Trojans will next hit the mats next Tuesday at Knoxville.
