Republican Presidential Candidate Rand Paul was at the Knoxville Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum on Friday.

He spoke to a crowd of approximately 50 people. The Kentucky Senator stressed he is the only fiscal conservative in the race, and that the party needs to be more compassionate to those who are downtrodden. He also stressed that others in the Republican Party are too ready to go to war, and that it should be the last resort, not the first. Paul was introduced by Pastor Brian Nolder of Pella.
