Pete Walker scored a team-high 16 points, and Trashawn Boyd put in 15; Sam Amsbaugh was the leading scorer with 21 points, while Dillon Gretzky tallied 19. Central’s women held a lead for most of the first half, but were stifled in the final 20 minutes, losing to the Storm, 67 – 52. Emily Dine hit five three-pointers to help her team get out to a six-point advantage in the second quarter, but again Simpson came rolling back and led 41 – 37 going into the locker room. The Dutch were held to 22% shooting in the second half, and scored just 15 points total in the final two periods. Claire Marburger scored 16 points in the losing effort. Both teams return to P.H.
