Certainly not the end to the regular season that the Pleasantville Trojan Boys Basketball Squad would have liked, they fell to the Tigerhawks of Colfax-Mingo last night 68-53.
The season ended with the Trojans not peaking as much as they would have liked, they won three out of their last four games but almost failed to put away a Wayne team that had only won two of its last 11 games, as well as a sloppy win against the Mount Ayr Raiders. The Trojans will end their regular season with a record of 15-6 in Head Coach Joel Allman’s first season as head coach, and have drawn a first round bye in the upcoming district competition which will allow them plenty of practice time to get into top shape. They await the winner between Pella Christian and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, whom they will host on their home court next Thursday night.
