Both Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas Girls Basketball Squads dropped their first round class 1A regional games last night. The Sabers fell to Sigourney 60-15. Coach Mark Bacus told KNIA/KRLS Sports the team was against shorthanded with injuries and a slow start. Shelby Denburger scored five points for Twin Cedars who finish the season at 1-20. Melcher-Dallas lost to Southeast Warren last night 55-19. Coach John Suntken told KNIA/KRLS Sports another slow start doomed his team. The Saints finish 1-19 on the season.
