The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce held their regular legislative briefing Friday evening.

State Senator Amy Sinclair and Representative Greg Heartsill offered their thoughts on pending legislation. Among the items discussed were the appropriate use of eminent domain by government, trespassing laws, gun permitting, and school funding. One bill discussed that is under consideration originated with Marion County Attorney Ed Bull, and relates to increasing penalties for window-peeping when the victim is fully clothed.
