The Pella High boys’ basketball team hopes their 21st game of the season goes as well as most of the first 20 have tonight when they finish things off with a trip to Centerville. The Little Dutch are 19 – 1, and on a 12-game winning streak. The Big Red hold a 10 – 9 mark, and feature very balanced scoring, with four players averaging at least ten points per game. However, after that quartet, the rest are averaging no more than four points per contest. They do have the ability to score a bucket full of points, as evidenced by their 101 – 80 romp of Davis County earlier in the year. It’s something Coach Mark Core says his team has to be mindful of this evening. Tonight’s single boys’ game is scheduled to tip-off in Centerville at 7:30 p.m.
