The Knoxville City Council has named Interim City Manager Aaron Adams to the City Manager position.

Adams first served as Assistant City Manager beginning in December of 2014, and has been the Interim City Manager for the past six months. Adams says he is excited for the opportunity. He says he chose to move his family to Knoxville from Arizona because he is a midwesterner at heart, and because he thinks Knoxville is on the cusp of doing something great.
