The Knoxville Street Department is taking advantage of warmer weather to fill potholes.

Dennis Webb, Streets and Parks Supervisor, says staff is hard at work on Robinson, as it is in worse shape than other city streets, in part because it’s due for resurfacing soon. Repairs are also underway on other city streets. Webb says the freeze-thaw cycle has been particularly hard on streets this year, and the use of city plows during the 10 snow events so far this winter has also caused damage to city streets.
