The U.S. Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association National Team Computer Rankings show the Central men’s and women’s teams at No. 25. The points in the computer are based off of the placement in the National Descending Order Lists. The higher that an athlete sits on the list, the more points he or she adds to his or her team’s total. The points show the individuals and teams that have the best chance of scoring well at said meet. Central’s women fell from No. 14 to 25, and the men dropped two spots from 23rd. The Dutch remain the only Iowa Conference school that made the rankings. The men’s and women’s teams host Simpson today in a dual meet inside of P.H. Kuyper on the indoor track.
