The pop rock band Parachute will be at Central College tonight to perform in the P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium.

This event is the first of its kind to happen at Central and is sponsored by the Campus Activity Board (CAB).

Board Member and student Susan Elder says Central students ask CAB each year to bring notable artists to campus. Elder says the board hopes this concert will create buzz for Pella as well as Central.

The band has performed alongside many big name artists and bands including Kelly Clarkson and the All-American Rejects.

Doors open to the event at 6 pm and the concert will begin at 7.
