Randy Watsabaugh of Corydon was arrested early Saturday morning following a chase that ended at the Pine Knolls Country Club in Knoxville.
An officer attempted to pull Watsabaugh over for having expired plates on his vehicle, but Watsabaugh accelerated leading to a chase exceeding speeds of 65 miles per hour. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS News that Watsabaugh pulled into the driveway of the Country Club and fled on foot before officers caught up to him. Watsabaugh is being charged with possession of marijuana, OWI first offense, interfering with official acts, possession of drug paraphernalia, and seven different traffic violations.
