One of two men accused in an October burglary at Midtown Tire in Pella has pled guilty.

Jason Beaman, 40, of Knoxville also received probation and a suspended two year prison sentence for his involvement in the incident.

According to Pella Police, On October 14th, detectives observed Beaman and Joel Allen Followill loading tires into a truck at Midtown Tire. Police say they watched as both stole tires and loaded them in the bed of their truck. When confronted by police, both fled inside the garage to hide.

Beaman pled guilty to a reduced 3rd degree theft charge and had one count of 3rd degree burglary dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
