Cole Wade Meyer of Knoxville has been charged following a physical altercation with another Knoxville man and the discovery of drugs on his person.

Officers were called to reports of two men fighting at the corner of Pleasant and McKinley last week. After the two separated Meyer began walking away and the other man told officers that if they searched Meyer they would find drugs. Meyer consented to the search and was found to be in possession of prescription drugs, a pipe, and marijuana. Meyer was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a prescription drug violation, manufacturing, delivering or possessing a controlled substance and possession of contraband.
