The new Pella Sports Park is set to open this spring.

Community Services Director Jeanette Vaughan tells KNIA/KRLS News the tentative opening date is April 1st. She says many groups will be using the complex in the coming months.

Fields of our Future, the group responsible for a majority of the funds spent on the project, will hold a grand opening May 3rd.

The City of Pella is looking for additional help to work on the fields over the summer and help with concessions.
