The Pleasantville Trojan Basketball Team made a lot of unexpected noise in the Pride of Iowa Conference this season, including a matchup against Lenox for first place late in the season.

To get to that top spot however, the Trojans had to rely on some help across the board because of a less than stellar record against teams at the top. The Trojans would split games against I-35 and Central Decatur, but fell to Bedford and Lenox in their only games this season. Competing against teams ahead of them in the final Pride of Iowa Conference standings, the Trojans were 3-4 compared to 9-0 on teams below them.
