While the PCM Boys Basketball team had a lot of success this season with a 13-9 record and earning a first round playoff bye, the depth of the team was not as deep as it has been in the past.

The Mustangs would lose their last four games of the season including a loss to Madrid in their first playoff game, where tired legs were a factor. The Mustangs several times this season has gone only seven players deep and at most would go nine deep. The team will only lose two seniors and with a large group of freshman and sophomores, some already with varsity experience, that depth will be expanded this next season. The team will have to replace Logan Gilman and his 21.1 points per game, but with expanded depth and more playing time from freshman forward Andrew Van Ryswyk and sharpshooter Jackson Thomas the team can look to its depth to be a strength next season.
