It was an almost perfect indoor season for junior Logan Mulford of the Central men’s track and field team. Mulford was undefeated in the regular season in the high jump, winning the quartet of meets he participated in, highlighted by a season and career-best leap of 7’0.25” (Seven-and-a-quarter feet) on February 13 at the Darren Young Classic in Grinnell. The junior also cleared 6’11.75” to set a meet record at the Iowa Conference Championships. Mulford was the runner-up in the high jump at the NCAA Division III National Indoor Meet.
